Join Beekeeper Chuck for a full season bee experience from getting your hives started to closing the hives off for winter. 

These monthly workshops will bring you a hands-on experience that will cover a full beekeeping year from April to September.

You will end this series with confidence and knowledge and have the skills to be a successful and mindful beekeeper!

And that’s because…..for the first time in 2 years our Summer Solstice Fest is making its much anticipated return to the local event lineup this summer season.

11th Annual Summer Solstice Fest is a celebration of community, the change of season, sun and the longest day of the year - featuring;
  • A stellar line-up of musical performances
  • Local artisans and delicious food sourced from nearby farms
  • Botanical cocktail bar stocked with farm made drinks
  • Art and children’s activities
  • Yoga and dancing

Vintage & Vinyl

Friday, June 24 
4pm - 10 pm

Boogie on down to the farm for a night dedicated to the vintage lovers and vinyl geeks. Swap and talk all things records and shop funky finds from our guest vendors.

Catch DJ Zahra Habib spinin’ the grooviest tunes, while sipping on a rad botanical cocktail and disco-ing the night away.

Blooms & Brews

Friday, July 22

Cheers to a night dedicated to local brews + beautiful blooms!

Sip and sample craft beer at our mini beer fest and shop our farm market vendors. 

Gather your friends and participate in games on the green including: pong, connect four, corn hole, bingo and axe throwing.

Island Vibes

Cruise to farm for an evening celebrating the flavours, sounds & dance moves of Caribbean Culture. 

We’re heating things up with live performances by Golden Harps Steel Orchestra and Caribana style dancers. Catch DJ Slash spinning soca and reggae tracks. 

Enjoy island themed cocktails and tasty eats from our guest Caribbean food vendors. Shop our farm market vendors & soak in the island vibes.

Join us in welcoming and celebrating the fall season with farmers market dinner flavoured by Elgin County’s seasonal bounty & live music.

Our Fall Harvest dinner is a curation of Wildflowers Farmers Market growers, creators, and chefs, making it a truly local + delicious culinary experience!

Each meal will be paired with a story - nourishing our bodies with local produce and our minds with fresh inspiration of how to best prepare and enjoy what’s available locally.

Tickets - $75 
Ticket price includes 4 course vegetarian meal, complimentary tea + coffee and live music.

It’s that magical time of year - where Wildflowers Farm transforms into a winter wonderland.

Shop for one-of-a-kind gifts and homemade treats from over 40 local crafters, makers & chefs. Come dressed in your favourite ugly Christmas sweater, gather with friends and stay warm by the fires. Sip hot cider, mulled wine or craft beer as you enjoy live holiday themed entertainment.

About Hospice of Elgin

Hospice of Elgin has been fundraising for the project to cover construction, equipment, and start-up costs, and a sustainability fund to support five years of operations. 

The province announced $1.6 million in capital funding toward hospice in Elgin in September 2019.
