The moment you turn into this country lane, there is a sense of letting go, a stepping away from it all. With the tree lined drive, surrounded by an enchanted garden, you can feel nature’s support. This feeling is woven into all that is offered at Wildflowers Farm. From wellness classes to weddings, Wildflowers Farm will leave you with a sense of calm, community and connection to nature.

our story

Hi, we’re the Magri’s! Chuck, Jane our three wonderfully spirited children, along with our growing count of animals, we want to welcome you to Wildflowers Farm.

We call this 9 acre farm home. Together we wildcraft, harvest and grow ethically with the utmost respect, working with our heads, hearts and hands.

I’m a Registered Herbalist and Ayurvedic Yoga teacher with a passion for blending both eastern and western healing modalities. Chuck is the beekeeper (whisperer!) who has a passion for gardening - he is the reason our gardens always look so good!

Step onto the grass and take a tour with me, Jane. Picture the views and imagine the sound of nature buzzing around, as I share our journey with you of how Wildflowers Farm came to be.

reconnecting with nature

My pursuit of herbal medicine began with my own healing journey and need for relief from chronic headaches and digestive issues (not subsiding with allopathic medicine). I began to feel substantial changes in my body, mind and spirit, and my life’s path became very clear from that moment onwards that needed to pursue this as a career, so I could assist others in their own healing journey.

This happened shortly before my love of travelling took me to the small island of Malta, where Chuck and my story began. Our love of travelling, nature, and adventure opened our hearts and we haven’t looked back since! This is the same thread that is woven into our home and business life. We love what we do, and do what we love.

living on the land

Like many of you, we craved a little piece of countryside, where we could raise our small family. This curiosity led us back to Chuck’s home country of Canada, where we found (or shall I say, it found us) in the most divine timing , a place to call home and grow together. We now have 3 beautiful children and many animals that share this lovely land we call Wildflowers. The name is a homage to my instinctual love of wildflowers, that grew so abundantly along the windy British countryside roads, the place I was born, and lived for many years

What we could have never predicted, is Chuck's love for bees would have such a huge impact on the land and our business. It just took some curiosity, learning, and observing, before Chuck took on the initial daunting task of keeping bees. Many years later and his hive count has increased exponentially.

What we didn’t plan, became the most surprising thing of all: how the flowers and bees go hand in hand, both in nature, and in your tea cup!

gathering, bees & botanicals

Our collective passions for all things bees + botanicals, brought us to open our farm to our community 8 years ago. We wanted to share our farm and love of living closely to nature's rhythms. Whether I’m hosting herb walks, classes + seasonal celebrations or Chuck’s leading hive tours, we both feel strongly about coming together in community (just like the hive!) to share nature's abundance.

We invite you to join in our growing adventure at Wildflowers Farm. Whether you come to shop, visit the apiary, attend one of our workshops or celebrate weddings, “may your life be like wildflowers, growing freely in the beauty and joy of each day” native American Proverb
