On Thursday, November 18, 2021, our beloved Olivia Czarina Vaseleniuck passed away in St. Thomas, Ontario at the age of 22.

Olivia was born on May 10, 1999 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and her soul was marked with the Maritime spirit at birth. This was reflected in her kindness and generosity, her deep love for family and friends, the ocean, music, laughter and kitchen parties. Her other great loves were dogs, art and adventure.

Well known for her joie de vivre and ongoing bucket lists, Olivia checked off skydiving, skiing, surfing, teaching herself to snowboard, and Tough Mudder obstacle races to name a few. She visited 7 countries, 8 provinces and 9 U.S states. When the pandemic restricted travel, she explored locally and went online to make new friendships and plans for future travels.

Olivia received a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Queen’s University, including study experience in Groningen, Netherlands. She was attending Western University Faculty of Education and looked forward to incorporating a global perspective as a teacher.

Whether at home, school, work or travelling, she was the light and energy in every space and she impacted countless people. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Olivia is survived and will be forever cherished by her father Neil Vaseleniuck, mother Janice Henwood, step-father Keith Mulvihill; brothers Kian Mulvihill, Brandon Vaseleniuck (Michelle), Kyle Vaseleniuck (Erica); grandparents Victor Vaseleniuck (Sharon), Deanna Mulvihill (Ray Tyson), Ray Mulvihill (Claire Crerie); aunts, uncles, cousins, extended families and close friends. She was predeceased by grandmothers Demerise Vaseleniuck and Beverly Henwood and her Papa, Alan Henwood.

Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St Thomas on Thursday, November 25th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service at Williams Funeral Home will be held on Friday, November 26 at 11:00 am. Pre-registration for the funeral service is full due to capacity limits.
