Pain changes our breath, body tension, thoughts & emotions. When pain persists, everything changes. The nervous system & brain become wound up, more easily excited and sensitized. The nervous system is changeable, which can provide us with optimism & hope in the face of ongoing pain.

These yoga therapy interventions take advantage of our ability to adapt our nervous system, allowing our systems to return to a more balanced, less reactive & hypersensitive state.

The yoga postures, breathing practices and mindful movements in each session are designed to help you move with more ease in the face of pain. These therapeutic classes are designed to allow you to gently heal your body, while learning effective tools for pain self management.
